Intonation appears to be good and is easily adjusted if needed. This is an 11 year old instrument and will need a set-up once it arrives on your doorstep. I have not been playing this guitar for some time but I checked the electrics and everything is working as it should be. The case is immaculate and all the catches/locks are in perfect working condition. The OHSC is finished in a very attractive purple which really sets off the guitar.
Scratches are in the finish only and not into the wood. I would class it as mint but for some very buckle rash on the back. No need to stretch for those long chords. Note this is the 24-3/4' scale neck so much easier to play for medium to smaller hand sizes.
I have the letter 'E' but took it off the pick-guard as I prefer the look. With a mint condition original OE HSC by Epiphone. USA parts and tone woods went into this beautiful guitar and it is simply stunning. Getting harder to find and now quite rare as the production run was very limited. This is one of the best guitars produced in the Japanese Epiphone factory and rivals any Gibson 335 out there. Here's a link to some reviews that speak to the quality of this guitar. Manufactured by Epiphone Tarada Japan Factory I have not had the serial # dated but it is approx a 2004 model according to online sources.
